It's an RS7...that drives itself...that's it. Audi says its RS7 vehicle topped 149mph while driving itself around the Hockenheim racing circuit, near Frankfurt. The stunt was organised to highlight their efforts to bring "piloted driving" to consumer vehicles. Even though the car took only just over two minutes to complete a lap of the Grand Prix track, there are still several hurdles still needed to be overcome for Audi - a division of Volkswagen. The company also put a human behind the wheel of the self driving car to compare, he took a whole five seconds longer to complete the circuit. That car is so wonderful and smart. The company hopes to bring these exuberant innovations to the public eventually.

The Tesla Model S is different than most cars on the market today. It changes the way you view cars. The extremely powerful electric motor allows it to have more power than some sports cars while driving and handling like a high class sedan. All the power from the motor is there at a moment's notice. Unlike traditional gas engines, electric motors don't need time to output the max amount of power possible. The most expensive Performance Model can go from 0-60 mph in a mere 3.4 seconds! The Model S has had rear wheel drive, but now you can buy dual motor models with all wheel drive! It's among the highest rated cars ever. To get one, all you need to do is buy one off their website, there's no dealership bull crap that comes with every other car in America.

The Interior of this wonderful car is dominated by the 17" touchscreen. It gets software updates like a computer or phone over a cellular network so fixes to the car's performance can be fixed by software devs at Tesla and pushed right to your car in some cases. New  Dual Motor Tesla models come standard with autopilot functionality. Every single Model S now rolling out of the factory includes a forward radar, 12 long range ultrasonic sensors positioned to sense 16 feet around the car in every direction at all speeds, a forward looking camera, and a high precision, digitally controlled electric assist braking system. The car can freaking DRIVE ITSELF. It's amazing.

The McLaren P1 is perhaps one of the most advanced cars of our lifetime. Considered the successor to the McLaren F1, the P1 is a plug-in hybrid super car. Yeah! A HYBRID! The electric motor can be deployed manually by the driver or left in automatic mode, whereby the car fills the gaps in the gas motor's output (also considered turbo lag). This gives the power-train an effective power-band of almost 7000rpm of real wheel driven power. That's quite a bit of power.

The car can be operated using either the gas engine, the electric motor or with a combination of the two. The battery can be fully charged in two hours, charged by the engine or through a plug-in adapter. The P1 has an all-electric range of at least 6.2 mi (10 km). The P1 has a gasoline consumption of 4.8 gallons per 100 mi, and as a result, the P1 combined fuel economy in EV mode was rated by the EPA at 18 miles per gallon equivalent,

The interior of the car is nearly as wonderful as the outside. Look at all those fancy screens and buttons. Beautifully understated.
